In a healthy organism, all these vortices rotate at a great speed, causing the vital energy to flow up through the endocrine system. But if one or more of these centers begins to slow down, the flow of life energy is inhibited or blocked - and this results in aging or disease. In a young individual, these vortices extend out of the body, but in the old, weak and sick, they can barely reach the surface. The fastest way to recover health, vitality and youth is to make these energy centers spin again normally.
There are five simple exercises for this purpose. Any one of them alone is already good, but the best results are achieved when practicing together. These exercises are not a gym. The lamas call them 'rites'.
